Topical Biotin made hair softer but seemed to stop the growth benefit usually seen from topical castor oil. Another strong pattern was that Vitamin B12 seemed necessary for some of the fuller-looking effects and also seemed to improve blurry eyesight that appeared when high-dose Biotin was taken without B12. Vitamin B1 seemed to interfere with these benefits. Overall impression: Biotin is one of my core hair-growth treatments, but it works best with the right stack and dose.
